Day 01 :
AIRPORT / COLOMBO |
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
Transfer to selected hotel in Colombo.
Commence brief city tour of Colombo.
Places of interest include century-old Clock Tower, British colonial buildings, the old parliament building in Fort, Galle Face Green, Buddhist & Hindu temples, St. Lucia's Cathedral, and Dutch Reformed Church at Wolfendhall etc.
Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo. |
Day 02 :
COLOMBO / ANURADHAPURA |
After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura via Kurunegala.
Arrive at Anuradhapura and visit Isurumuniya, Thuparama, Ruins of Brazen Palace, Jetawanaramaya, Moonstones, Abhayagiri, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Twin Ponds, Lovers of Isurumuniya, The Rock Temple of the Isurumuniya, and the "Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi-Sacred Bo Tree" etc.
Arrive at selected hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 :
ANURADHAPURA / POLONNARUWA |
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa.
On arrival, visit the Parakramabahu Statue, Quadrangle, Thuparama Image House, Gal Vihara (Rock Temple), Lankathilake Image House, The 12th Century Lotus Bath etc. On completion of the visit, return to selected hotel in Polonnaruwa.

Day 04 :
POLONNARUWA / SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY |
After breakfast leave for Sigiriya to visit the Rock Fortress and frescoes.
Later proceed to Dambulla.
Continue journey to Kandy.
Arrive at the selected hotel in Kandy.
Later in the evening, commence a brief city tour followed by a performance of a Kandyan Dance and Cultural Show.
Dinner and overnight stay at the selected hotel in Kandy.

Day 05 :
KANDY /PINNAWALA /
COLOMBO OR NEGOMBO |
After breakfast, make an extensive tour of Kandy,
which would take you through the Municipal Market, Kandy Lake,
the Temple of the Tooth Relic, scenic Upper Lake Drive, Gem Museum and Factory,
Art and Crafts Center, Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, and University Complex etc.
Later in the afternoon leave for Pinnawala to visit the Elephant Orphanage.
Thereafter, proceed to Colombo or Negombo for dinner and overnight stay at your selected hotel in Colombo or Negombo. |
Day 06 :
COLOMBO OR NEGOMBO / AIRPORT |
After breakfast leave for Airport to connect the onward flight to your selected destination. |
